Boys Majors - Grades 7, 8
The majors league developmental recreation league for boys in 7th and 8th grade. The 7th and 8th grade kid pitch program is elevated play focusing on fundamental baseball in a competitive environment. Mechanics and skills learned at earlier levels in the program will be enhanced and put in play in a faster paced game. Kids will be challenged at a higher age group to continue to enhance and further their skills in the game.
This division plays games in the Pewaukee Youth Recreation Baseball League and Lake Country Youth Baseball League. During league scheduling in April the intent will be to keep Sussex-Lisbon team’s road games as close to Sussex as possible. This division will play a 12 game schedule and will have a total of 6 road games in neighboring communities like Pewaukee, Monches, Merton, North Lake, and Erin. The final schedule will be available after the April scheduling meeting.
The program will focus on the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, pitching and good sportsmanship in a competitive environment
- Practices will begin in late April, with games starting the last week of May
- Teams will be formed after registration is closed, approximately mid-April
- There will be 2-3 days per week of activity, either game or practice.
- Practices will be on weeknights. Most games will be on weeknights.
- There will be an end of season league tournament on the third weekend in July with awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers

Practices for this division will be on either Mon/Wed. Home games will attempt to be scheduled to the same practice days of the team, Mon/Wed. Road games will be between Mon-Thur, and are determined by the field availability of that community. The only weekend game is the last Saturday of the season on July 21st which will be the final end of season tournament day.
